About The Rhinecliff
The Rhinecliff is a boutique country hotel nestled into the banks of the Hudson River. The full-service hotel, dating from 1854 when it served as a rooming house, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Recently restored to its original glory after a 5-year renovation by British-born restauranteur and financier brothers James and David Chapman, The Rhinecliff's antique wood floors, beams, stone fireplaces and original Victorian oak bar have been painstakingly restored.
Guestrooms feature private balconies overlooking the Hudson, and provide the latest in luxurious amenities. Just 2 miles from the historic town of Rhinebeck, renowned for its shopping, antiquing and country fairs, the hotel's brasserie-style restaurant offers classic European fare using the freshest local, seasonal ingredients. The Rhinecliff is just 2 hours north of New York City, and conveniently located near the Rhinecliff Amtrak station.
