Dining at The Red Hat
A favorite haunt for locals, guests at the Red Hat Bistro and Bar in Irvington can expect a warm welcome by proprietors Mary Beth Dooley and Jim Parker, and a lively, cosmopolitan atmosphere. The bistro retains the original tin ceiling, brick wall and antique bar, now an informal restaurant with cozy tables, twinkling candlelight, and vivid, painted portraits. Lunch choices range from nicoise salads and country-style pate to burgers and herbed omelettes. Steaks, fish and duck are added to the menu in the evening.
