About Mount Merino Manor
This stately Victorian was built in 1870 by Hudson River School artist Frederick E. Church's private physician, Dr. Gustavus A. Sabine. Now a luxury bed and breakfast inn, Mount Merino offers seven guest rooms and suites, many with decorative fireplaces, whirlpool tubs and walk-in spa showers, making it an ideal romantic getaway.
The inn sits on a lush hilltop, surrounded by 100 acres of shaded woodlands with magnificent views of the Hudson River and Catskill Mountains in a region rich with history, culture and natural beauty. Mount Merino Manor is easily accessible from the Taconic State Parkway and the NY Thruway.
