Breakfast at The Inn at Green River Innkeeper Deborah Bowen's specialties include Lemon-Ricotta Hotcakes, Omelettes with Honey Ham, Basil and Tomato and Malt-Flour Pancakes with Pears -- while freshly-baked scones, biscuits, local jams and fresh fruit are constants. Deborah loves to show off the beautiful pale blue and sage green Auracana eggs she gets from a neighboring farmer -- they make the omelettes particularly special. The Inn's kitchen is the heart of the house, where two wing chairs and a couch welcome guests. Martha Stewart Living magazine loved the kitchen and grounds so much that they continue to use them for location photo shoots. |
